This PLAIN SPANDREL roof is made from premium Superlume, a steel substrate coated on both sides with an Aluminum-Zinc alloy. This is manufactured using state-of-the-art Non-Oxidizing Furnace technology. The composition of the coating alloy is: 55% Aluminum 43.4% Zinc 1.6 % Silicon
This unique coating will translate to significant cost savings for any user of products made from Superlume because the coating alloy will protect the steel against corrosive environments for years. The excellent corrosion resistance of Superlume is a result of combined protection of the barrier effect of Aluminum and the sacrificial or galvanic protection of Zinc on the surface of the steel.
